At the Parlor Salon we rent out our chairs to independent contractors. Our current team has what we believe to be the best hair services that Sacramento County (Folsom and El Dorado Hills). Each one of our stylists has a minimum of 10 years of experience in the salon business and most of them have been working for themselves. There is a level of professionalism that all of clients feel when they come to our salon.
If you are a hair stylist and interested in renting a chair at the Parlor Salon here are a few things you’ll need to know about working here. First of all, if you don’t have a full calendar you’ll need to have a marketing strategy. We have a fair amount of traffic coming in and out of our salon but you’ll want to be marketing using Instagram and personal connections. The second is that you’ll need to view yourself as a high end stylist. A number of our stylists have studied at Vidal Sassoon and cut hair for high profile individuals. A third thing to keep in mind is your personal ability to manage your own calendar and budget. Each one of our stylists have an ability to run their own personal finances and calendar in a very professional way. There are quiet a few other things to mention about working at the Parlor Salon in Folsom but these are a good start with.
