Doing hair has been a journey of really intense highs and really intense lows.

What I have found to be true is to stay and your lane and just keep moving.

Most of all DON’T LISTEN AND BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR.
–
My first boss told me she didn’t think I had a career in hair.
–
When I started taking pictures of my work and posting them on social media everyone told me I was wasting my time and that social media marketing wasn’t a thing.
–
When I started doing Balayage people told me I wouldn’t make money because clients could go longer between visits.
–
When I took classes people told me I was crazy for spending that much money.
–
When I started using new technology like my processing lamp instead of an old school hooded drier everyone stared.
–
When I started NBR people bashed the method to my face and behind my back even though they had never experienced it for themselves and did zero research.
–
Four years later of doing my own thing and I am finally seeing huge progress in myself, my work, and my career.
–
Why? Because I did something DIFFERENT.

I would NEVER have gotten here if I let that outside chatter make my decisions.
–
People who are in the top 1% have to do all the things that the 99% won’t.
–
And people will always talk shit about the things that they don’t understand.
–
So my advice to you is to do your research, stay in your lane, and keep pushing towards those dreams and goals despite what anyone thinks or says.
–
Do it well, and do it with a good attitude.
–
And when people say you can’t, do it twice and take pictures!
–
Now go smash those goals!
