Katie was trained by world renowned editorial stylists to create hair through the lens of the camera. Working with top design teams at New York’s Fashion week, industry “legends” of runway, red carpet, celebrity and editorial styling is where Katie’s passion flourished.
Her love of all things hair led her to pursue her dreams in Los Angeles where she trained, learned and traveled the world with one of the most sought after Hairstylists in the business, celebrity and editorial stylist Mark Townsend. Katie was afforded the opportunity of a lifetime working along side Mark and seeing first hand, the creative process. Experiencing everything from photo shoots for international magazines with world renowned photographers, to the most high pressure red carpet, Oscar and Met Ball moments.
Katie is truly a triple threat, with a natural affinity for the art of hair. Having trained extensively in hair cutting and styling, her true talent is flawless color. From shimmering honey and champagne blondes, to sun-kissed shades of caramel and copper. Katie prides herself on her ability to provider her clients with beautiful rich color and a cut to match.
Katie’s clients have included Katie Bosworth, Liberty Ross, Maggie Gyllenhal,and Lea Michelle to name a few. Her work can be seen on the pages of magazines, red carpet, runway and walking down the street.
