Kevin Murphy Young.Again Dry Conditioner

Leave-In Conditioner

When it comes to leave-in conditioners there’s a method to receive all the wonderful benefits.

What is a leave-in conditioner?

A powerful daily ritual to hydrate your hair and give it a beautiful glow.

Leave-in conditioner is lighter in weight than a mask and you can leave it in your hair before or after styling it.

Kevin Murphy’s Young.Again Dry Conditioner is for restoring hydration, increases shine, helps detangle your hair, and even provides heat and UV protection!

Leave in conditioners also help treat existing damaged ends, nourish brittle hair, and deeply hydrate dried-out strands.

Unlike hair masks that you’ll use once a week, leave-in conditioners should be used after every wash.

How to use dry conditioner

Step 1.

Apply on damp hair as needed.

Right after you get out of the shower, apply at least a quarter-sized amount of leave-in conditioner to your damp strands.

Apply from the mid-shaft of your strands all the way to the ends. If you have any leftover product, apply that to the top of your strands near the root to reduce frizz and flyaways. You can also apply it to dry hair as well.

Step 2.

Make sure to use the right amount.

Your hair texture determines how much leave-in product to use. Coarser hair types generally need more product than finer hair.

Experiment with your leave-in conditioner the first few times you use it. This will help you determine how much you need for deep hydration and how much is too much.

If you want to know if you have applied too much for your hair type, your strands may feel weighed down or have trouble holding a style. How if you feel like your leave-in conditioner isn’t providing enough hydration, try using a larger amount and see if that helps.

Step 3.

Detangle your hair as needed.

If you choose to brush or comb your hair, a leave-in conditioner provides a buffer to give your hair more slip. When your hair is dried out, it can be harder to detangle your hair and cause more breakage.

After you’ve applied your leave-in conditioner, slowly and gently sort through each section of your hair with a comb, brush. Try to take your time and avoid ripping through tangles or brushing the hair too fast as they can lead to damage.

Step 4

Style it!

This last step is all up to how you prefer to style your hair. If you’re going for a heatless style, you can scrunch your strands to achieve uniform curls, let it air-dry, diffuse your curly strands, or go for a blowout, all up to you!

Dry Conditioner will give your hair an extra dose of nourishment and you’ll be pleased with the results!
